She is in the hot seat at Uber. As the first Director of Policy and Communications for the Asia Pacific region, Amy Kunrojpanya is responsible for driving Uber’s reputation which has been taking a real beating lately.
Asif that’s not enough she is also in charge of the company’s public policy, governmentrelations, community outreach and communications efforts across Asia. She is also on the board of Uber’s Global Diversity Advisory Council, making sure that the leadership is more diverse and inclusive, something which all tech companies have been struggling with. That is quite a mandate! But Amy is not complaining.
She loves meeting people, haying studied, worked, lived and travelled in over 60 countries. Before she came to to Uber in 2016 she worked with companies * What makes Uber unique is that it is sa tech company that is both offline and online
One of the issues uber has faced has to do with the mindset and behavior of drivers.any agree saying that this work in progress and getting the right mindset .the company is in constant engagement with drivers right from the boarding process.there are driver support centres throughput the country that helps with any issues that they may have.
She maintain that has a loyal and engaged user community feedback that is helping the company professionalize moving from a start up to sustainable business, investing in technology ,people, and customers.
But at the heart of this technology company, lies a strong culture that the new CEO is trying to further reinforce. According to while uber operates in 79 countries .it has to be locally resonant and relevant.there is an embedded bias towards action but that I towards action but that is towards doing .technology allows you to be available but does not ,the choice will not only be price sensitive but also based on what company that is.
